Shipping Boxes

I’m shipping off a bunch of the layer pieces to various family members as christmas presents and I decided to play around with creating cardboard shipping insets.

The first step was to acquire a bunch of 6x6x1″ black cardboard boxes from Uline. I then created a stack of 6 layers that fits smoothly in the box and holds the piece snugly.

And of course, once I had a stack of cardboard it made sense to add some ornamentation to the layers.
